Effective July 1, 2019 the Nebraska Energy Office (NEO) merged with the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to become the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (DEE) . As we move through the remainder of 2019 into 2020, the websites from both the Nebraska Energy Office and the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, will be merged into the new Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy website. The newly merged Department of Environment & Energy website address is dee.ne.gov The Energy & Assistance Division website is neo.ne.gov The website merger will take considerable time to complete. The 2018 IECC code goes into effective July 1, 2020 . Updates coming soon...
